1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Once you are truly born again if you want to live the God-kind of life your Heavenly Father has for you, there must be a renewing of your mind. You don’t have to be conformed to the world’s way of living in fear, sickness, disease, poverty, and lack. Jesus came to give you life and that more abundantly (John 10:10). Think of this new life opportunity like a caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly. You see the word “transformed” above is where we get the word metamorphose. This change does not take place without the renewing of the mind. Renewing of the mind begins by going through the New Testament and finding out who you now are in Christ. Begin to confess who the Bible says you are, no matter how you feel. You are a new creation in Christ, the old man has passed away and a new man has come. You are the healed of the Lord, God has blessed you and is your provider. You must also begin to live what you learn in following after our example, Jesus our Savior. Get in a good church where they teach you these truths, not a bunch of man-made religion. Christianity is not a religion, but a new life to be lived.
