Speak To The Mountain

Mark 11:23

“Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.”

In Christ Jesus you have the ability to move mountains. Jesus did not say to ask God to move the mountain, you command it to move. A mountain represents any obstacle that stands between you and that which God has promised is yours in Christ, or that which tries to stop you from carrying out His will for your life. Jesus gave an example before He spoke this to His disciples.

He had spoken to a fig tree that was producing no fruit and He declared that no one would eat fruit from that tree again. At that moment it did not look like anything had changed. But the next day when they passed by that tree, Peter noticed that it was now dead. It had died from the roots up. When you speak to any mountain in faith using the authority we have been given through the name of Jesus, you know the work has begun from the roots up.

Realize that we are not told to go to God and ask Him to do something about the mountains that we face. Jesus said you are to speak to it. We have been given authority, God’s delegated power through the name of Jesus to use in this earth, and we must use that authority against whatever may stand in our way. Learn to use the name of Jesus and command that mountain to move.

We Have Been Made Righteous

2 Corinthians 5:21

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

It is important as a believer in Christ to fully understand and have revelation in your heart of what the blood of Jesus accomplished for you if you want to be a partaker of what Jesus purchased for us. But something that is just as important, and even more so is understanding what the blood of Jesus accomplished in you as well. This is an area where many fall short. Let me explain from the above verse of scripture.

Jesus was made to be sin by shedding His blood on the cross so that everyone who is truly born again would be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. That simple truth means that one who has repented and made Jesus the Lord of their life is now in right standing with God. Another word we see in scripture for this is the word justified. His shed blood cleansed us from the old spirit man within and made us brand new. When this happens you are now right with God because you have become a son or daughter of God.

When you are made right with God you now have rights as a child of God. You become an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus. As His child if you understand who you now are, you begin to realize what now belongs to you. When God looks at you He sees this new inward person who is in right standing with Him. We need to wake up to this reality and begin to see ourselves as God sees us. This will not only change how we live, but how we look at the promises of God. Every promise is now available to us because of who we have become. A child of God who is once again in right standing with Him.

Just Believe

Mark 9:23

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

There is nothing impossible for those who walk in Bible faith. Faith believes in the heart not the head what God has promised us. Faith speaks in line with what one believes, and faith acts upon the Word of God. Find scripture that gives you the promise of what you are believing for. Meditate on those verses until they become real to your inner man (your spirit man).

Then release your faith believing you have received when you pray, and stay in faith calling those things that do not exist as though they did. Faith does not deny the existence of a problem or obstacle, but faith does not focus on the things in the natural but on the Word of God. Faith does not look at what is seen, does not become occupied with what you are facing, but it looks at what is not seen the promise of God’s Word that is not yet manifest.

Faith sees that promise as a present day reality for you have taken hold of that promise in your heart, your spirit man. Faith also acts upon the Word of God for faith without corresponding action is dead. We must act upon what God’s Word says. What man says is impossible, God says is possible to them that believe. Just believe!

Baptized With The Holy Spirit

Mark 1:8

“I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus desires for us to be more than just born again, it is His desire that we be immersed in the presence of God. If we will ask Him in faith, it is He who will baptize (immerse) us in the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1:8 Jesus told His disciples that they would receive power (be empowered) after the Holy Spirit came upon them and they would be able to go and do the works Jesus did. Acts 10:38 declares that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power, and He went about doing good and healing those oppressed of the devil.

There is more than a born again experience for the believer. When you are born again, your spirit is made new and the Holy Spirit comes into your spirit. But when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit you yield yourself unto the presence of God within you and He comes upon you to empower you to set people free, following in Jesus’ example. Jesus Himself said in John 14:12 that the works He did we can do also.

This is a missing element in many believers lives. There are many churches that do not teach the “Full Gospel”, for being baptized in the Holy Spirit is a part of the good news available to every believer. If you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit find a church that believes in all Jesus taught, and learn how to receive this power for your life through the Holy Spirit who lives in everyone who is born again. Once you have received this power from on high, learn to yield unto Him every day by praying in your heavenly language, building yourself up on your most holy faith (Jude 1:20).
